Staying fit and healthy is not a trend or phase; it’s a lifetime lifestyle choice that fit girls embrace for the rest of their lives. The daily ‘habits’ of fit girls are called habits for a reason. For something to be considered a habit, one has to repeat that activity at least 21 times.

I’ll be the first one to admit, I don’t work out every single day, and sometimes I don’t even feel like eating healthy. But I know that I have to do it to stay healthy – and so I do it.

Most of the time we eat healthily in our house, and we’ll have a cheat day at least once a week where we all just have some naughty food (e.g., a gluten-free pizza or burgers and fries). And that’s ok. Cheat days are good.

OK, without further ado, here are the daily habits of  fit girls:

1. Exercise

Fit girls find time to workout. And the good news is you don’t even need a gym membership for this one.  I canceled my gym membership some years back and got myself some affordable workout equipment from Amazon.com and saved myself tons of money.

Adapting fit girl habits doesn’t have to cost you thousands of hard-earned cash every year. You can exercise for less or even free by, for example jogging, taking long walks or working out at home using your own workout equipment.

2. Fit Girls Drink A lot of Water

Fit girls drink at least eight glasses of water every day. Water is an essential part of staying healthy and fit. However, that doesn’t mean it’s exciting to drink it. I dislike the taste of plain water and will typically resort to drinking infused water instead.

If fitness is your goal, then make sure you’re drinking the recommended amount of water per day.

3. Stock Up on Healthy Snacks

Fit girls almost always eat healthy snacks. And that means no junk food, fast food, and the likes. No, you don’t have to go on a diet. However, you will want to get into the habit of eating healthy snacks when you are hungry in between meals. Nuts, fruits, protein bars, and low-fat yogurt make pretty good and healthy snacks for any fit girl.

4. Fit Girls Workout

And they also make sure they get their cardio workout in there too. A fun way to do cardio is jumping rope.

5. Sleep

A fit girl gets plenty of sleep every night. Try and aim for at least 7 hours of sleep, and you’ll feel the benefits in no time. Not only will your fitness improve, but your skin will thank you too. Sleep is super important to make sure you are getting plenty of it.

6. Fit Girls Meal Prep

One of the best ways to make sure that you eat healthily is to plan what you are cooking each week.

Planning meals not only cuts down on chances of you eating unhealthy foods but it also means that you can make dinners in bulk or that you can repurpose leftovers for the next day’s dinner too. And you save money.

7. Fit Girls Shop on Full Stomachs

The worst thing that you can do while trying to implement the daily habits of a fit girl is to go shopping on an empty stomach. An empty stomach means that you are going to feel pretty hungry while at the shops and that you might buy snacks that you wouldn’t otherwise buy.
